Texas Binding Memorandum
To: Our Agent Partners,
This email is to inform you that our carrier partner Conifer Insurance Company is suspending new insurance applications starting 9/1/2025. We expect this to be a temporary measure as Conifer revaluates rates, distribution and concentration. We anticipate that Conifer may reopen certain counties or territories in short order.
This temporary shutdown will not affect renewals or business quoted and issued before 9/1/2025. The agent portal will also be available to view renewals, endorsements and service existing business.
Sycamore Specialty Underwriters is working diligently with both Conifer and new carrier partners, including Arbor Reciprocal Exchange, to gain more capacity for our agents. We expect Arbor will be available for quoting and binding in September. We are also working to launch a new agent portal which will provide you with a stable and competitively priced homeowners product for years to come.
