National Food Safety Education Month (NFSEM) was started by a food industry association in 1994, and was later adopted by academia and regulatory agencies to highlight the month of September as a time to actively participate, engage, and educate others about food safety. In this second session of a two-part webinar series, participants learn how to be more effective with food safety training, engage employees beyond of the classroom, and access available food safety education resources. This session covers:
• Food safety fundamentals • How to develop, implement and deliver a food safety educational program • Available NFSM resources Who should attend this training?
Food Safety professionals, and Safety & Health professionals, business owners, grower/packer/shippers, food plant managers/general managers, QA/QC managers, and any employees with food safety responsibilities
