Important Reminder: Extension of Grace Period for Payment on NFIP Direct Flood Insurance Premiums Expires January 15
Due to the lapse in program authority from 10/1/25-11/14/25, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) extended the 30-day grace period for payment of renewal premiums. (Full FEMA Bulletin is attached.) Any renewal payment due from a policyholder on or after 10/1/25 was granted a grace period until 1/15/26. We are rapidly closing in on that deadline.
As your Regional Sales Manager, I encourage you to do a quick review of any expired policies in your portfolio to minimize chances of coverage gaps. Log in to NFIP Direct - Agent Portal.
Click the My Profile tab.
Select Agency Reports.
