Subject: Suspension of Binding for Carolina Wildfires
Due to the wildfires in the below counties, effective as the date of this letter, we MUST suspend binding any NEW coverage or accepting any NEW applications, as well as NEW coverage increases to existing policies while the fires are active within the following counties:
SC Counties:
Horry County
NC Counties:
Haywood County
Please Note: Do NOT issue new coverage or increase coverage in the Online System during this period. If issued in error or intentionally, COVERAGE will not apply to any policies issued in the Online System during the suspension period.
This does NOT affect coverage already issued and in force prior to the suspension being applied. Such policies will remain in full effect unless previously cancelled.
