I wanted to share a quick resource on one of the construction classes that performs well with ERGO NEXT - carpentry contractors.
This is a class that tends to be straightforward to place. Here are a few things worth knowing:
- Average premium is $1,779/year with a 35% bind ratio
- Eligible lines include GL, BOP, Tools & Equipment, and Workers' Comp
- GL includes Blanket Additional Insured automatically -- which is often required before a carpenter can step foot on a job site
- Tools & Equipment covers up to $30K blanket, with no scheduled items required -- a common pain point for contractors who don't want to list every piece of equipment
- BOP is available in most states for clients with a shop, office, or stored inventory
